Explorers Program

Duration:  3 Hours Per Class

Tuesdays 10am-1pm

September - June

Typical Explorers Schedule: Note some days will look different due to holidays or special activities.

• Morning Meeting: Calendar, Pledge, and more

• Circle time routine

• Writing and or letter formation

• Phonics/Reading

• Movement Break

• Mathematics

• Lunch

• Read aloud

• Related literacy activity

• Dismissal

Student Expectations for Explorers program:

• Emerging number recognition and counting.​

• Emerging letter recognition and sound association.

• Willingness to follow directions and engage in group activities.

• Age-appropriate ability to sustain attention and remain engaged for 10 minutes.

• Ability to seperate from parent/caregiver at drop-off and transition into the class routine with support as needed.
